The handle is made from a material called Micarta and the blade is pure VG10 Japanese Steel.

Let’s get in to some Technical details about the Knife!
The Steel used is Japanese Tafeku VG 10 super steel with 67 Composite layer high carbon stainless steel.
Each side of the blade is clad in 33 micro-thin layers of high-carbon stainless steel forming a virtually rustproof Damascus-style variegated surface.
The grain on the blade is that of a tiny wave

The handle is a Micarta handle. Easy to use and the grip is excellent even when wet. It is strong, durable, chemical resistant, easy to polish and very attractive. It is made from a variety of materials and will last forever.
